monitoring, responding and reporting to the deviations observed and Handled various plant emergency in

Responsible for the efficient, safe& reliable operation of 2*600MW plant, performing duties in rotating shifts
for maintaining, recording all parameters & making adjustment to keep them within limits.

Working in adherence to SAP PTW (permit to work) system for safe isolation and normalization of
equipment for maintenance or overhauling activities, safeguarding man and machine.

Adhering to Safety, Environment and Health standards of the plant in all functional areas and developed &
implemented measures for enhancing safety levels.

Identifying root cause of failures, repeated issues and implementing quick breakdown solutions to put the
machines back in operation within minimum turn-around time.

Performing daily shift activities which includes scheduled equipment changeover, standby & DC emergency
equipment trials, soot blowing, Gun purging, maintaining load schedule etc.

Delivery of knowledge sharing sessions and toolbox talks to colleagues and associates regarding technical
and safety aspects for skill development.

Working on system improvement plans for increased reliability of equipment and improving efficiency
resulting in energy saving.

Coordinating start-up/shutdown activities of unit with other departments as a process owner. Prompt and
timely response during emergencies for safeguarding of man and machine.

Working on organization enhancement systems like IMS, QMS, OSHAS and on-site emergency preparedness
plan.
